TERM 1, 2006

Monday, 6 March 2006

Dear Parents,

Kindergarten are settling in well and are enjoying their first term at school. We are very busy learning our sounds, tricky words and numbers this term. We are also learning about seasons, days of the week, shapes, data, volume and capacity. In Science we are doing some fun experiments to help us learn about eggs, and in HSIE we are learning about our school. The class web pages will be
updated soon with more information about what we are learning this term.

Thank you for your support with the sound books and revision of the tricky words. The children are making wonderful progress.

We have lots of exciting things happening for the rest of this term. In week 8, children will be
presenting their "About Me" speeches in class for news. We also have Grandparents' Day and Easter activities to look forward to!

Please come and see us if you have any questions.

Kind regards,

Colleen Job and Peta Gorman
